I dont know how to review this product. It serves its purpose and the price was right.
Total rip off. You can buy a 2 meter USB cable anywhere for $5 or less, but HP makes their printers so that only their cable with a non-standard connection on one end will fit, then they charge $20; 4 times what it should cost.
lynnieff Went to Amazon, of course, found it, and it was sent right away. The store where I purchased the C6180 did not have this cable, and since I am handicapped I couldn't go from store to store to find one. to find items is a puzzlement and the icing on the cable was that it was a freeship. This cable is required to work the HP C6180 printer, scanner, copier, and fax. It is not included with the C6180. So easy, why anyone uses gas, time, etc.
Connected cable to printer and computer. Bought the cable. Nothing more need be said. . Bought the printer. Printer works so I guess the cable is 'good'.
Bottom Line: Not satisfactory at the moment. I do not know how to rate the printer or the cable and I have already lost 30 days on the printer's warranty. An ink cartridge for the printer arrived Nov. To date the order is 2 weeks late since it's estimated shipping date of Oct 28 - 29. 17th.
I have not even been able to find a way to contact customer service to see if there is going to be a long lag time, in which case I would know that it would be wise to cancel and order from someone else. 15th, but I have not received the cable. Based on advice in the ad for the printer, I ordered the subject cable, also made by HP, in the same order. I ordered an HP printer, which does not come with a cable, on Oct. The printer shipped on the 19th of October.
I sure would like to be able to rate the cable and printer.
